1. Motion to elect temporary Chair for today's business
1.1 Julie Morgan was elected as temporary Chair, in accordance with Standing Order 17.22.
2. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
2.1 The Chair welcomed everybody to the meeting. Apologies were received from Christine Chapman.
3. School Standards and Organisation (Wales) Bill: Stage 1 - Evidence session 5
3.1 The Committee took evidence from Keith Towler, the Children’s Commissioner for Wales.
4. Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for the remainder of business
4.1 The Committee agreed the Motion.
5. Inquiry into Neonatal Care : Discussion of Draft Report
5.1 The Committee considered the draft report on Neonatal Care. A draft report will be revised in light of Members comments and re- circulated for agreement outside of the Committee.
6. Inquiry into adoption - Discussion of headline themes
6.1 The Committee discussed the headline themes for the Inquiry into adoption.
7. Scoping paper on the impact of Universal Credit on the provision of free school meals in Wales
7.1 The Committee agreed to discuss the forward work programme further at the meeting on 19 July.
